It is always more difficult to measure inductance accurately than other passive components. The main difficulty of measuring the coil is that the inductance and efficiency of the coil are largely affected by the frequency; similarly, the parasitic effect of the coil (distributed capacitance and core / copper resistance loss) will change significantly with the frequency. The measurement of the coil at the application frequency, i.e. "use frequency test", is more representative of the base value of the components in the circuit than that at the traditional standard frequency.
