色环电感其外形与色环电阻差不多，但是色环电感两头尖，中间大，和引线衔接的地方是逐渐变细的；而电阻明显的是两边粗，中间细，而且很均匀，和引线衔接的地方是垂直横切面。
The shape of the color loop inductor is similar to the color loop resistance, but the two ends of the color loop inductor are sharp and large in the middle, and the place where the color loop inductor connects with the lead wire is gradually thin; the resistance is obviously thick on both sides, thin in the middle, and very even, and the place where the color loop inductor connects with the lead wire is the vertical cross section.
一般色环电感是用绿色做底色，而电阻一般是用棕黄色、蓝色或灰白色做底色。
Generally, the color loop inductor uses green as the background color, while the resistor uses brown yellow, blue or gray white as the background color.
指针式万用表检测电感器好坏的方法：将指针式万用表转换开关置于Rx1挡，红、黑表笔各接电感的任一引脚，根据测出的电阻值大小，可具体分为下述有三种情况进行鉴别：
The method of detecting the inductor with the pointer multimeter: place the switch of the pointer Multimeter in the rx1 position, and connect the red and black probes to any pin of the inductance. According to the measured resistance value, it can be specifically divided into the following three situations for identification:
①被测线圈或色码电感器电阻值为零，其内部有短路性故障。
① the resistance value of the coil or color code inductor under test is zero, and there is short circuit fault inside.
②表针转动，被测电感有电阻值读数，电阻值大小与绕制电感器绕圈所用漆包线线径、绕制圈数有直接关系，只要能测出电阻值，则可认为被测绕圈或电感基本正常。
② when the meter needle rotates, the measured inductance has a resistance reading. The resistance value is directly related to the diameter of enameled wire and the number of coils used for winding the inductor. As long as the resistance value can be measured, it can be considered that the measured coil or inductance is basically normal.
③表针不动，被测电感电阻值为无穷大，说明其内部有开路故障。
③ if the probe does not move, the measured inductance and resistance value is infinite, indicating that there is an open circuit fault inside.
